Was hot out and humid. We did get some rain and a bit of a storm that blew through as well. Seems to be gone for now. Though it will return in the next few days.
It's not a bad way to get paid since I'm salary. So my paychecks don't change regardless of the amount of days in between each paycheck.

Ice cream certainly does help. Too bad it makes you fat at the same time...

I like ice cream and brownies. Delicious. And fattening...
It turned into summer, which at the moment, I'm okay with!

ok, so what happened to that thing we used to call spring? did I blink and miss it yet again?
I could do without the high mold, tree, grass and pollen counts though.
yes ice cream and brownies is good (and fattening....) and I dont usually keep any ice cream on hand as the hubby thinks that the container is a ONE size serving (yes even the gallon tubs!) got a few fruit bars in the fridge instead (they are not fattening and are refreshing)

Sure seems that way doesn't it? Go from winter and cold cold weather to warm weather that is consistently in the 80's. I mean okay then. o.O
Makes allergies pretty bad. That I could do without as well.
I used to polish off a container of ice cream in a week or two. That was back when I ate it a lot. Also contributed to me going up to 210 pounds... Now that I don't eat it as much and try to take better care of myself I sit between 165-175, depending on the time of year.

oy, I can barely eat an ice cream cone without feeling full let alone a whole pint or more.
Lost a bit of weight being ill, hope to not gain it back (so far have not)....mold count was high again today, thought I was going to cough out both my lungs (and a few other organs), and I wonder why my ribs hurt.

I don't know how much I could put away. I know I can have a large blizzard from DQ no problem. But other than that I don't know.
Got some nice storms that rolled through last night. I don't think they were as severe as what they were calling for, at least not here. Supposed to get some more storms this afternoon as well. Will have to wait and see if that does happen or not.

I hope you all survived the rough weather last night. We got 3 inches of rain overnight. Haven't heard of any wind/hail damage locally. A cousin in Omaha, NE, got some serious hail, but fortunately no major damage.
Completed therapy on my shoulder Monday. Got almost all range of motion back. For some reason, insurance has not paid a penny on anything from the first doctor visit to the last visit to PT. They have had 9 weeks to pay something on the $5000 worth of bills. Why have insurance if they don't pay what they say they will?

dont get me started on insurance.....but I can tell you it does take a very long time for them to do anything --------funny story time: I had braces back in college my first year, my mom had dental insurance (she had all kinds--was well covered as a kid, back when it meant something), well about 5 months after I graduated college we got a check in the mail from the insurance company. Mom didnt know what it was for, so I read the whole thing and found the date of service---it was FOUR YEARS before the check date!!! took them FOUR YEARS to work it out....so yeah, insurance can take time....
I am waiting for my bill from the hospital from last month, knowing my current insurance isnt as slow as my story (but still slow), I think I will see it sometime in october (hospital bills insurance first, only GOOD thing about them).
Glad you are doing better (with both shoulder and computer) Perkunas!
we have been getting some rain, nothing severe, but the lawn mowers are out (IN THE RAIN) mowing away...idiots.

Good old insurance. I try to avoid using them whenever possible... The only time I use it is for my prescription ($10 a refill) and when I go to my doctor to get my prescription renewed ($30 copay). Otherwise I try to stay healthy.
I saw some pictures of houses in Omaha, they definitely got battered to say the least. Glad we didn't get any of that here.

dont have a copay, I pay whatever the insurance company decides is 'reasonable and customary'....so its usually a few $$ less than the full amount the doctors bill for. (until, if ever, I reach my huge deductible, then they will pay a portion).
supposed to be nice for a day or so--not too hot and not raining

Yikes, don't wan to do that since those doctor appointments can get expensive real fast...
Supposed to be 80 today. Have to go help my dad work on the pool today, hopefully we will actually work on it this time. Last time it was a bust due to cottonwood snow.

yeup, now you can see why I am not a fan of doctors.
I know the mold and grasses were really high yesterday, tree was only moderate...so hope you can get the work done today.

Our insurance is suppose to be $20 copay at doctor and 100% of the therapy covered. Turns out, the insurance company was waiting for my insurance to pay first. Thing is, the wife's policy is the only policy.
Got another 1/2 inch rain last night. Hope the weather is not too bad between here and Memphis, TN tomorrow. Driving down and back tomorrow, picking up our son who is in school. Looking at about 16 hours round trip, and that is with good weather.

So the insurance was waiting for itself to pay first essentially? Brilliant... Just brilliant...
Looking like we will get some more rain starting on Saturday. Supposed to be fairly nice tomorrow, low 80's and sunny. Good day for a walk.

Paperwork at the doctors`? damn that sounds weird as RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO, excuse the language.
I am hoping to get a new doctor as well, the one i have now keep saying "have you tried "x" pill?" and i'm like, No because i don't like pills and they aren't the solution to my problem (except Laxatives, but prune juice is just as good)
Also, what is it with America and insurances?, it seems like everything needs it, here in the happiest country in the world (Denmark) we're just like "meh shit happens" and rarely, very rarely are an inssurance worth it (Except for house owners and water damage and the like)
